A self-contained indoor growing system built for a working classroom. It arrives fully set up, serves up to 84 students, has a small footprint, needs no outdoor space, and runs as a four-week unit.

Week by week

Four weeks, one crop at a time

Week 1 · Plant cabbage

Students plant their first tray of cabbage and lead with wonder, exploring how a tiny seed holds a whole plant.

Week 2 · Plant peas

Students plant pea shoots and follow food from farm to plate, thinking in systems about where what we eat comes from.

Week 3 · Plant radish

Students plant radish and connect nutrition to identity, exploring how food shapes health, culture and who we are.

Week 4 · Harvest

Out come the scissors. Students harvest, taste and reflect on the whole journey. We’ve watched committed salad-avoiders go back for thirds.

What's in the box, and how it's set up

The grow lab: 4-level rack, full-spectrum grow lights, digital timer & power strip, plus growing trays, pots and cups
Seeds & soil: kale, pea-tendril and radish seed, and bags of potting soil for up to 84 students
Harvest & taste kit: snip scissors, harvest bins, watering bottles, a mixing bowl, tongs, dressing, and plates and forks
In-person setup: we deliver, assemble and install it in your room
